To support the Financial Institution Department Business Promotion as the RM for Financial Institutions.
1、Relationship Building: To build the relationship with finance institutions and their subsidiaries onshore, and to support the relationship offshore with relative Departments. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
(1)Prepare client meeting materials.
(2)Prepare strategy to expand business, such as analysis of client organization and their strategies, and how to match client needs with Financial Institution Department 's business strategies.
(3)To monitor the activities of all banks in China assigned areas and feedback to the management and various department of the bank.
(4)Handling of KYC related issues with clients. (Both conducting and receiving)
(5)Compiling the information related to obligor from public & informal sources and monitor irregular symptom in conjunction with Financial Institution Department Business Promotion group members. Once encountering an abnormal indication, figure, and symptom, he/ she should approach Credit Officer or GM, Financial Institution Department.
2、Profit Target: To maximize the revenue from those financial institutions for one of the following. SMBC Group, SMBC, SMBC East Asia Division, SMBCCN or SMBCCN- Financial Institution Department.
(1)To promote lending and liabilities business in both RMB and foreign currency of SMBC China, including, but not limited to, facility amount and agreement negotiation, support of documentation, weekly and monthly reporting and other associated responsibilities.
(2)To collaborate with related departments for our own new products or alliance products set-up. (Including business strategy, discussion paper, manual of product, agreements)
(3)Cross Sell: Cross sell of other departments' products to financial institutions in assigned area.
3、Team Work: To cooperate and collaborate with other members to deliver overall Financial Institution Department results.
(1)Supporting Credit Team in preparing supplement sheets for new / renewal credit applications, especially on the business relationship angle. Monitoring the client from an RM perspective, and if notice any abnormal indication, figure, and symptom, report to management.
(2)Supporting and co-work with other department members, other internal and external related departments, SMBC Group's departments to smoothly carry out FI related issues.
(3)To help other department and branches to solve any issue with PRC banks in the area when requested and to provide support for customer enquiry in case of need.
(4)To be a good team member to other staffs by providing his/her knowledge, skill, experience, to strengthen the skill set of Financial Institution Department and SMBCCN.
4、Preparing and maintaining various manuals based on the instruction from Department Head, following various requests from the SMBCCN senior management and other departments.
1、Working experience: 2-3 years of banking experience, FI related work experience are preferred.
2、Good command Japanese with proficient writing and speaking skills are required. At the sametime, preference for fluency in English languages.
3、Basic knowledge of accounting and economy.
4、Good communications and interpersonal skills, especially working as a team.
5、Being positive to new challenges and ideas, following EAD and Financial Institution Department strategies.
6、Education: Bachelors degree. Major in Finance/Accounting/Economics from a good university is preferred.
