Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of existing Beneficiaries of the LCs routed to J.P. Morgan under the Beneficiary Marketing program with the aim to increase the Export LC handling business.
Proactively call on new Beneficiaries of LCs directed to us by our FI Clients with the aim of onboarding these Beneficiaries in accordance with the Beneficiary Marketing Risk and Due Diligence principles
Ensure compliance with all AML, KYC and Compliance requirements during the set up of a new Beneficiary or renewal of an existing beneficiary.
Customer Service – Serve as a single point of contact for the Beneficiaries and provide guidance on the applicable Trade services, and where required, partner with internal subject matter expertise (Product, Risk, Operations) to resolve issues or queries
Work closely with FI Sales and Advisory colleagues – in APAC and other regions – to maximize performance of FI Flow Program transactions into a given country.
Work closely with Product Management, Operations and other relevant stakeholders to define, refine, and improve product offering or to meet specific requirements.
Leverage competitive insight and market knowledge to deliver results
Ensure proper tracking of information on Beneficiaries for consolidation and reporting as required.
Build relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Trade Advisory, Trade Solutions Delivery, Product Management, Trade Operations, Trade Sales, Risk, Compliance, Credit and Legal in the coverage of the Beneficiary Marketing portfolio.
Remain abreast of changes to the Compliance, Operational, Risk and Finance functions to propose any adjustment to the team’s methodology accordingly.
Qualifications:
University graduate
Comprehensive understanding of Letters of Credit would be an advantage, including Trade Finance Operations knowledge.
Strong communication and client-facing skills, exhibiting confidence in client delivery
Experience with Beneficiary marketing and client onboarding preferred.
Sales and/or relationship management experience, especially within the SME sector.
Experience working across international markets.
Demonstrate ability to anticipate and manage change, and to think strategically.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly.
Proven ability to build and maintain productive business relationships. Ability to influence key stake holders.
Language: fluent in written and spoken English; spoken and written Mandarin skills
